About Us

Jewish After-School Enrichment is a stimulating yet friendly environment, where children can embrace their Jewish roots and gain a true sense of Jewish pride, no matter their level of observance or affiliation.  

Children acquire a broad knowledge of Judaism in a motivating and challenging environment. Our students gain an appreciation for the joys, values and traditions of our heritage, vividly brought to life by our dedicated and enthusiastic teachers whose creativity and dynamism make every lesson a unique learning experience.

At JAE our goal is simple: We want our students to view Judaism in an intelligent, relevant and upbeat light. Along with the Aleph-Bais, Holiday learning and Hebrew literacy, by years' end, your child will have developed a deep love and appreciation for their precious heritage; imbuing every day with a sense of meaning.

JAE after school and now Virtual learning program has provided our children with a well-rounded Jewish education. We have two children that have attended the program since Prep, with our daughter just finishing the program last year. The beautiful teachers have used fun and interesting ways to teach them about our traditions, important festivals and history. They have also spent one-on-one time with them teaching them how to read and write Hebrew using innovative strategies. Through this tricky new way of learning Leah has gone above and beyond to keep our son learning and engaged via the virtual JAE program. Elisha and Leah and all the teachers involved with the JAE program have provided our children with a warm, loving and safe environment to discover what being Jewish means to them. Being part of the program means you are part of the Moorabbin Shul Family, which is a wonderfully inclusive community to be surrounded by. Thank you for all that you do.

 Our kids thoroughly enjoy going each week. They find the lessons fun, interactive and enjoy learning their jewish history and learning to read Hebrew (and of course the snacks are a bonus too!). We appreciate the considerable effort put into the program and are pleased that our kids have a Jewish component to their education.

My gilrs have both been attending JAE since Prep. They are now in Grade 4 & 2 and still enjoy going. They learn so much and come home brimming with excitement each week. Having the bus straight from school is also a fantastic initiative.
