    Get ready for the opportunity of a lifetime.
    With JewQ, your child will master the building blocks of your Jewish heritage while competing with Jewish children from across Australia.

    They will learn, play review games, and take 3 tests. Any child that scores an average of at least 70% on all three tests, will qualify to join the national championship, with competing schools from Victoria, NSW, WA & Queensland to compete for a JewQ medal and enjoy a grand trip!

    The highest scoring champion will be awarded a round trip ticket to New York City and be Australia's representative at the International JewQ Torah Championship!

    Details in short:

           JewQ is for children Grades 3 through 7 and will run from May – September, 2024.

           Each grade has specific information to learn from the Living Jewish Handbook.

           Each child will be given 3 tests throughout the learning periods either online or during JAE to keep them motivated and ascertain their level.

           There is on average 5 short pages of information to learn each week. Each child 15-30 minutes a week mastering this information (some of this time will be given during JAE) and there are many online games to play to help study and revise. 

    We will offer online review classes as well!

           Those who score an average of 70% through all 3 tests will join Hebrew Schools throughout Melbourne on an exciting grand trip, as well as being eligible to enter the National Australia wide Championship game Show.

           The child with the top score throughout Australia will win a grand prize of a round trip ticket to New York City and be Australia's representative at the International JewQ Torah Championship!

    ●      There is no cost to enter. 

    The hardcover Living Jewish Handbook is $25. (subsidized rate) It is the same book for all grade levels. If you have it from last year, you can use the same book again.

    ●      Sign up by May 10th by filling out the form below !

  • The books are subsidized due to a generous donor. The donor has agreed to supply the books at no cost to a child who would like to participate but needs an additional subsidy. Please contact Leah by emailing [email protected] if your child fits those requirements.
