WELCOME BACK TO SHULE

Thank G‑d we have finally been allowed to reopen Moorabbin Shul for regular Shabbos services.

Government regulations for the next two weeks allow us to welcome 20 fully-vaccinated people*
(ie have had 2 shots) at each prayer service.

Covid has impacted every aspect of our lives in the most unimaginable of ways, beyond our control. So, while there are multiple reasons why someone may not yet be fully vaccinated, or chooses not to disclose/upload their vaccination status - we hope you understand that due to current government rules, for the safety of our community, we have no choice at this stage but to limit attendance.

Shabbat, QR codes & Requirements:

We have been guided by DHHS on how we honour Shabbat while observing 'reopening' rules. On Shabbat we can't use QR code technology and therefore must have a manual method to register attendance.

In order to attend (whether Friday eve or Shabbat morning) we ask that you:

1) Provide a copy of your Covid Vaccination Certificate via  this link or bring a copy of your vaccination certificate to the Shul office. Please call Baila on 0415 795 675 to confirm times when she will be in the office.

The Governmental requirement is that Shule officials sight the certificate and record the number. Once sighted, we will not retain the certificate in any form.

2) Book your attendance times (whether for Friday night or Shabbat morning) prior to Friday each week via  this link. You may book for more than one service at a time.

3) wear a mask when attending shul at all times

*Children under 16 do not need to supply vaccination status

Assistance:

Instructions to download your Digital certificate can be found HERE.

Looking forward to greeting you in Shul,
